MEMORANDUM FOR MEMBERS OF GRILL FLAME SCIENTIFIC
EVALUATION COMMITTEE
SUBJECT: Scheduled Activities
1. We. have finally succeeded in obtaining access to information that we
have previously sought, and I have made arrangements to hold discussions
in place. We also are planning for some members to visit with Dr. Hawk
at Lawrence- Livermore Laboratories, and I think it is essential to have
one concluding executive session in Washington prior to wrapping up the
final report.
2. The future scheduled activities are as follows:
a. Visit to Wright- Patterson AFB near Dayton, Ohio early am I Nov
to approximately 5:00 pm. (We are trying to arrange military aircraft
for those in the Washington area. )
b. Proceed by commercial air on the evening of I Nov from Dayton
to Orlando, Florida; approximately 10:00 pm arrival. (Will transmit flight
schedule and suggested overnight accommodations at a later time.

3. A visit has been scheduled with Dr. Hawk of Lawrence- Livermore
Laboratories for 6 November, for those interested to attend.
4. There will be an executive session at the Pentagon, Room 3E385, 9 Nov
79, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, in order to reach a Committee consensus on the
findings and recommendations for the final report. It is important to have
this meeting and I would appreciate your attendance.
5. 1 invite as many of you as possible to participate in the above activities
and especially in the meeting on 9 Nov. Jeannie will be in touch with you
to ascertain your plans and to help you with any arrangements which you may
need.

6. Enclosed you will find a brief overview I composed, because I was
compelled to spell out some of the essential differences in PS activities.
7. Please submit your assigned tasks to me as soon as possible. (Please
ignore this if you have already done so!)
