 ;.SUBJECT:   Request for Information about Stanford
 Research Institute          (SRI)  Paranormal Research
 Project by Mr. Wilhelm former Time Reporter
 l.?; Mr (Wilhelm, a former Time reporter has written
 a letter to C.:Anderson, presiden&* of SRI requesting
 permission to interview Dr.  H. Puthoff and Mr.  R.  Targ
 the investigators of paranormal abilities.   Ostensibly
 Mr. Wilhelm desires to write a true positive story of the
 activities at SRI to obviate the previous biased public
 accounts-
 2.   Dr. Puthoff called and reported the above.   He
 also solicited our opinion on the request.   It was mutually
 agreed that since publication of certain portions of the
 r
 work isininen.t, refusal to see Mr. Whilhelm would only
 delay such interviews which will become more frequent in
 the future.   The SRI. investigators will grant the interview
 and confined the discussions*to the innocuous portions
 of their studies.
