Lr +' SECF;E T:n'1 CF LEFENSE Tne Committee of Conference on the Fiscal Year 1983 Intelligence Authorization Bill has agreed to reconcile the positions of the House and Senate concerning GRILL FLA'11E by funding the program at a level of $300,000. This amount will permit the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to complete the third year of a three year contract with Stanford Research Institute (SRI) and to evaluate the results of this multi-year effort. As you are aware, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence has watched with interest Defense Department research into parapsychological applications. The Committee requests, therefore, that a comprehensive report be prepared documentin6 the results of the SRI contract and that it be submitted to this Committee not later than October :t5, 11983. The report should discuss the methodology and findings of the research effort to include all relevant statistical analyses on remote viewing trial applications.
