 Enclosed is a short paper on the need for an enlargement
 of the AFMIC building and a preliminary cost estimate.   The
 cost figures represent our best estimate, based on discussions
 with the engineers at Fort Detrick.  The estimate should apply
 to both the "third-floor" and the extension-module options.
 I  have  also  included,  at your request,  a paper that
 describes how our program at Fort Meade  would benefit from
 being located in the new AFMIC facility.
