The purpose of the session was to provide information relevant to the hostage situation in the U.S. Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran. 2. (S) The remote viewer's impressions of the target are provided as raw intelligence data and as such have not been subjected to any intermediate analysis, evaluation or collation. Interpretation and use of the information provided is the responsibility of the requestor. J 3. (S) The protocol used for this session is detailed in the document, Grill Flame Protocol, AMSAA Applied Remote Viewing Protocol'(S), undated. 4. PAUSE For the past few minutes now you've been studying a photograph. On that photograph there was an area designated to you as Area 1. Relax and concentrate now; focus your attention on Area 1. Ahm ... ah ... not ... could be rows of wall lockers ... ah ... it could be long, skinny, narrou door ... doors or it could be some type of inLerior decorating, whatever, Ane-the-r--image- ~Mpt came -and I was, at the same -tn-imc, flooded with an atmosphere of the environment; I first pictured a large, comfortable wooden chair, then I perceived that this was only one of many chairs in this particular area. I had the atmosphere that...ah ... this may have been-this particular area may have been a conference area ... ah...a planning area. I ... I felt as if there +11 were a ... a long, large wooden table; dark wood with chairs all around. One unusual thing that-that struck me though is that I don't know where I was in the building but somewhere I ran into a profusion of...of draperies ... ahm ... and it was most unusual. *a I had the impression they were red. Somew~ler 1, in the building are a lot of red drapes, or V icurtain or something, but I've yet to perceive any people or any activity. #66 OK. You seem to be having a difficult time today getting any focus; is there anything that you want to try? I had one of an entrance way to a building. Ah ... I seem to-when I focus on it went inside this building; I'm not sure it Is/0 same one, but if it is I went to a different location than the other two that I already described. I seemed step back and I pictured ... I had the picture ... impression... very strong impression of an individual sitting there hut it's ... it... it's not a present Situation. Ah... this individual was well groomed, dark hair, mustache, wearing a gray well tailored suit, very neat, with a white shirt and red tie. I would say would appear late 30's - early to middle 40's; probably much younger looking than his actual age; very hard to judge the age, but somehow this seemed to be his office or he was ... ah ... he seemed to be the dominant figure. #66 You don't feel this is...ah ... taking place now? #14 No, no, no. It ... well, if this office or this conference room or whatever has been normally dominated by this person, it just may be a very strong impression of him, but...ahm ... ah ... the individual Was as I said ... ah ... very fresh, crisp hair cut, well groomed, the-you know, hl*- suit was ... @h ... just like it came back from the cleaners, you know, pressed and everything, and he was very ... ah ... you know, not ... lie was not w t~ one would expect from a hostage situation. Now perhaps ... ah ... he's not a hostage, I don't know. PAUSE #14 In my first impression, Drawing No. 1, was the series of panel shapes going down a ... a wall (mumble), I'm not sure where the wall was; whether it was in a hall way, orwhether it was a room. I only saw this one wall with these... these shapes that continued down, and,again, I'm not sure whether these were Ranels, do'Drs, wall lockers or what, but sitting here drawing ... drawing them unconsciousl~~-'half unconsciously anyhow, I would desc4be them more as a-more as p9nels on a ... a,-eall of a hall way or a room. -rAUSE Ah ... in Drawing No. 2 was a very strong impression; a nice comfortable chair, rather expensive type, the ... it was very heavy, it Uas upholstered very nicely, very comfortable, but this was very solid wood construction, heavy type chair, and then the scene turned into one of... the chair itself is A ... and appeared to be looking down a long, heavy table and there were more of these chairs around this table, and there appeared to be draperies or curtains or something nearby on the walls or ... or whatever. I'll try. PAUSE The ... ah...I had two solid things that came out and appeared to be ... ah ... concrete or something, and the steps going up to ... ahm ... it appeared to be mostly glass doors through ... two doors that opened like this and these panels on each side were solid and there appeared to he one above that. And then 4 was, once I got inside I was drawn to a room where I saw a large photograph or painting and the painting was of an individual or photograph of an individual. Ah ... mostly the head and shoulders; bust type. There appeared to be some flags or something on either side of this and down in front ... directly in front I'm not sure if there was a desk or what have you but then I had this long table again. #66 In your ... You're questioning whether or not this is the same long table ... conference table type situation you had before? #14 Right, right, right. I don't know, I don't know. #66 OK. #14 Analytically it would appear that way, but not necessarily so. #66 OK. Now, you mentioned that at no time during the session did your really ever see any people any- where, either outside or inside other than in this room that you've drawn now, No. 4, you did see ... ah-concept of a ... ah ... individual sitting at the end of the table, however, you don't feel that that ... he was really there? #14 1 think ... oh ... this person's essence is so, perhaps so strong that it, you know, but ... ah ... definiLely ... ah...a light gray suit, red tie, and white shirt. No. I came prior to No. 2, but all it was ... it was a wall of some sort with these series of long, rectangular shapes going down it, but did not have any feeling that ... thaL the ... there any people occupying thaL place at this time, be it hostage or anybody else. #66 OK. (S) The viewer has been exposed to oper~~ource news media informa- tion, classified overhead imagery and ph ugraphs of many of the hostage personnel. He knew he would rking against the hostage situation in Iran. 2. (S) At the time of the sion, the viewer was asked to describe an area referred to as "I. Fie was shown overhead imagery of the US Embassy compound in Teheran, Iran. The area designated as Area "I" was pointed out to the viewer by the interviewer. The imagery is not included herein due to its classification. 3. (S) The viewer had not worked against this target as a remote viewer in the past. He had, however, served as an interviewer for this target. Becuase of this, he felt he had difficulty sorting his own target impressions from those he remembered from the session in which he was the interviewer (see Session CC39).
