(S-SS) At-Ithe start of this session, I tried to rid myself of the feeling that there will be no attacks' on U.S. +,lagged ships in thC4 Gul'+ of HorMUZ or the Persian Gulf during, the month of September-, b-y declaring it as both A.V. and AOL. (S--SS) Having done this, I located myself on the Persian Gulf, and looked for flagged ship, having a problem. F"erc.-.-eptions were.- - Therc.-., wasfa U.S. flacged ship having problems which was located near land, the coast being in a north/south 'directi(-.)n at that poirit (see sketch, bottom, P.1) b. The ship, itself is +acing in a north/south direction at ,1-.he time of the problem. 4. (S-SS) As a double check. on this information, I then retasked myself with "U.S. ship having trouble'in the Persian Gul+", and got nothing. 5. (S-SS) It dawned an me that 1-had just given myself two, different tasking cues, so I again cued myself with S. ship1ha-iiiving trouble in the Persian Gulf". qt *f-cepA-i(-.)ns received were: a~ Ship +acing in a north/south direction. b Something wrong (NFI) Wqh on one end.
