(9 SECRET/NOFORN - SKEET CHANNELS ONLY PROJECT SUN STREAK (U) WARNING NOTICE: INTELLIGENCE SOURCES AND METHODS INVOLVED Session Procedures Report (SINFISK) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PROJECT NUMBER: 8715 SESSION NUMBER: 3 DATE OF SESSION: 1 OCT 87 REFERENCE: TECHNIQUE UTILIZED: CRV TARGET COUNTRY: MISSION STATUS: SOURCE IDENTIFIER: 018 1. (S/NF/SK) Monitor Tasking: The monitor was provided with suggested additional guidelines (attached), based upon the Source's earlier session work. 2. (SINFISK) Source Tasking: The Source was initially directed to begin the session in Stage IV by placing the originally-provided coordinates outside the matrix. But the Source informed the monitor that these coordinates seemed to produce information which the Source perceived to be associated with only a superficial description of the site. The monitor then attempted to exploit this (erroneous) idea by instructing the Source to cross out the coordinates and replace them with the mission number (8715), the intention being to get the Source's mind focused upon the intelligence question (i.e., the "target") vs. the site. This trick ultimately failed. Also, just prior to the start of the session, the Source engaged the monitor in a conversation the details of which centered around the Source's earlier difficulty experienced with this site. This conversation led to other topics, mostly of an administrative nature. These kinds of conversations prior to a session, however necessary, are nevertheless disruptive, i.e., do not set the stage for a smooth session. The session in fact did not go smoothly, and was restarted after a break-- the Source could not seem to break away from the narrow, single site element of the "pile". 3. (SINFISK) Summary: Attached; pretty much the same as earlier ones. The Source again mentions that a body of water lies in the vicinity of the site. (SINFISK) Comments: At the bottom of the monitor's bag of tricks lies the tool of directing the Source around the site, rather than allowing the Source to "roam" at leisure? looking for "the answer"--it may be that there is a subconscious or unconscious aver8ion/repulsion to a key element of the target. (For example, this particular Source has been known to avoid, i.e., not recognize and objectify, percepts which are connected with the idea of "death"). (S-SS) Statistics: Project 8715 Viewer: 018 Session date: 1 OCT 87 Filename: 8715.1.03 2. (S-SS) The perceptions gqined from this session were, by and large, a repeat of previous sessions. New items include: a. There were per6ept-ions of two men located in the structure, near the pile of powdery dry substance. Both men were wearing black-business suits. One was carrying a black leather (AOL: pouch). The other man was somehow associated with a sharp metallic item (NFI). b. Once again trying to identify the location, an attempt was made to identify the powdery substance in the large pile. From all indications (see page 10), the substance is some kind of building material; supposedly cement or limestone. There were repeated impressions of this material being destined for final use in the construction of a bridge. C. In a final attempt to identify the overall location, the impressions reaffirm a previous session's concept that the overall area is a land/water interface, supposedly with a port (see sketch, page 11). 3. (SISS) Viewer's critique: I have the feeling that there is something about this site which is not bein g decoded correctly, and that I will probably continue to have trouble identifying site specifics until I can work through the problem. At this point the problem, itself, has not been identified, so I can only continue to work and wait. I feel that I am at the site, but that the perceptions gained are neither important, nor revelent to the information desired.
