(SINFISK) Session: Source acted rather "out of it/spacey". Monitor assigned the original coordinate to the "East site". After source acquired what seemed to be the target (or part of it/a composite of it) and produced a certain amount of data, monitor moved the source "200 meters WSW", the intent being to acquire the "West site". Source did not seem to be responding well to the movement tasks, and in fact conceded as much. Monitor then turned to S6, instructing source to place the original "structure" in symbolic form in the center of his worksheet, then to work outward from it in all directions, placing things that he perceived to be significant in perspective on the paper, also in symbolic form. Source perceived a series of structures along the same vector as that provided for the unsuccessful movement attempt. Additionally, one other structure, towards the east (see sketch, p.16a), was detected. A time line search was also included in this session (see below). 3. (SINFISK) Summary: Beginning site descriptors of site included the words "raised up, open-air, height, overlooking, austerity and sm~4NPR"?/NOFORN-SKEET CHANNELS ONLY CLASSIFIED BY: DIA-DT DECLASSIFY : OADR Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789ROO0300090001-9 Approved For Release. 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789ROO0300090001-9 "I,RV_AK/NOFORN-SKEET CHANNELS ONLY splendid isolation". Something at the site was manmade and solidly- anchored. Source detected a tall, thin structure (but his own "structure" began to slip at this point). Perceptions associated with the "top of the structure" one year into the future (S6) involved the ideas of "line of sight, elevated, and rounded w/lots of space inside", (AOL-"like an antenna inside a dome"). Source had the impression that the structure--the top of it especially--is not yet complete, but will be in about a year; the top is not presently enclosed, but will be. Construction is in progress on this structure. Inside the rounded thing atop the structure will be an object, "moveable, metal, curving, technical, complex, lobed, shiny, protected, and rotating on top of a platform". Overall impression in connection with these percepts is that there does not seem to be anything out of the ordinary as far as this piece of equipment is concerned; it may be defense-oriented, but is nothing "exotic", i.e., it's (AOL) "like a microwave relay, some sort of radar, or other familiar technical device". Towards the WSW was a group of structures which are in some way (dimensionally) connected. These are associated with the structure perceived earlier. Other perceptions were "different heights, rectangular, angled, corners and curves, with a sharply defined edge (boundary) to the area". Also perceived were very large cable bundles/umbilical cables. Source described this area as being "very functional, no frills". This site is under construction. One year into the future not too much would be different here. After two years, source's impression was that the site might "not even be fully functional anymore... its purpose or functions have become obsolescent or overcome by events. These structures will still be capable of doing what they were intended to do, but the need for them to do it will have decreased". Source's general impression is that this site is "just another radar installation" (AOL- "DEW line"). 4. (SINFISK) Feedback: Source was informed (post session) that monitor was somewhat familiar with this site and was personally interested in a solution to the "intelligence question". Source continued to badger monitor with the question of whether the ops officer had reviewed the session or not.
