SUMMARY OF INFORMATION: SG1A
1. (S/STD) Determine if the lis carrying contraband in the form
of drugs: Yes.
2. (S/STD) Describe the nature of the drugs: The drugs are thin, flat
rectanglular "pieces" (approx. 5" X 2.5" X .5") of black, sticky-looking
(shiny surfaced) material.
3A. (S/STD) Describe how the drugs are wrapped: The drugs are located
inside a single heavy paper-board box which is dull black in color. The box
is approximately 18" X 30" X 7" in size. The "pieces" are lined up neatly
in the box in rows and layers (see Fig. 1). The "pieces" are not wrapped
individually, but are simply placed into the box together.
3B. (S/STD) Where are they stored aboard ship?: The box of "pieces" are
stored in a storage compartment in the prow of the boat (see Fig. 2). It is
crammed into this area with clothes, suitcases, gear, etc. Within this
area, it is sitting vertically toward the very front, and high in the pile
of stuff, directly under the boards of the decking.
