(SINFISK) Remote Viewer 025 perceived that short-range ballistic missiles would not be used in the immediate future based on Sadam Hussein's desire for an interim period of peace. In about February 1991, Sadam Hussein will launch short-range ballistic missiles "from Iraq toward the right - to land near water borders." The short-range ballistic missiles were perceived as being "semi-long and narrow in appearance with small,'flagged (appearing) portions near the end (of the missile)~." The results of 025's effort are at TAB A. Obviously, Iran is located to the right of Iraq; and the most prominent body of water is the Persian Gulf located south of Abadan). 3. (SINFISK) Viewer 052 perceived the launching of short-range ballistic missiles by Iraq against US and coalition forces during the first week in November and continuing through January 1991. According to 052's viewing efforts the missiles would be launched from a geographical location near the town of Al Azair and Qurna at geographical coordinates 31 05 N / 47 20 E. Target object was perceived as being located at geographical location 27 30 N / 45 40 E, in Saudi Arabia. Viewer 052's summary and conceptual sketches of the missiles are at TAB B. (OPS COMMENTS: The reported firing of short-range ballistic missiles, particularly in November 1990, does not track well with earlier reporting of near-term attempts at a negotiated peace.) 2 ENCLS SG1J TAB A &B NOT la.T.'
