There are several sets of similar or nearly identical objects setting on both the dock and within/on the M These sets consist of two SG1A barrel-type containers and a wooden crate see sketch page 3). There are at least two SG1A of these sets setting on the dock near the and two are located within the itself (see sketch page 11). These containers are located along the starboard side o t e vessel. The set of containers which contains the narcotics sits slightly behind midship. It is hidden within the vessel and not on deck. There is a sense that the additonal sets of nearly identical containers are being used as "decoys" in an attempt to deceive/mislead someone or something from the "real" thing. The set which contains the narcotics sits below deck and slightly behind midship. The first "barrel" contains a black liquid. The wooden crate contains machinery or manufactured metal parts. The second or middle "barrel" contains 5-6 layers of densely packed packages of either heroin or hashish. The wrapping is either dark green or brown and has a woven texture. The packages are tightly taped. The narcotics are tan to brownish, grainy and solidly packed within the wrapping itself. The packages are packed in a circular fashion. One of the middle layers consists of identically wrapped packages but these particular packages do not contain narcotics. They contain something that is layered similar to a bundle of papers or leaves of tobacco. These layers are hidden by a "false" top layer of fluffy material (ie shredded cotton, rags or saw dust). 0013: (191134 JUL 90) The= is carrying two types of drugs: SG1A 1. A dark brown, sticky, bitter-tasting "paste" which is packaged in shallow "pans" of metal or thick aluminum foil. These are in cardboard boxes stacked in the lower area of the ship, at the far rear. 2. A light and dark brown stringy powder which is packaged in red cellophane packages and may be labeled as 1-1b (or kilo) bags of columbian coffee. These packages are packed in cardboard boxes, stacked below, on the right hand side, between the middle and the rear of the ship. 19 1,5 30 t- -30 1,-, 0 ~ SG1A Approved For Release 2000/08/08 : CIA-RDP96-00789RO01 100240002-2 Approved For Release 2000/08/08: CIA-RDP96-00789RO01 100240002-2 SG1A SG1A 0?0 Feedback on JT174-090 OOF: The =is currently docked but the engine is being tested in preparation for departure in the near future.
