D.C. 20340- 14 December 1989 SG1A SG1A MEMORANDUM FOR CHIEF SCIENTIST DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY SUBJECT: SUN STREAK Operational Report 8929 (U) 1. (S/NF/SK) During the period of 10 October 1989 to 4 December 1989 inclusively, twenty four sessions were conducted in an effort to confirm or disprove 2. (S/NF/SK) Tasked with describing the target area at Encrypted Coordinates 291100/433974,: Remote Viewer 011 accessed an elaborate system of steam pipes phanneled to various location within a complex. Remote Viewer 01~ then accessed a "target object" described as a long metallic cylinder enclosed by a long .cylindrical projectile box-like structure with an apparent exiting the tube/box. See TAB A. Viewer 011 then perceived a circular "pipe/tunnel" located at the base of the target structure, "below surface level." See TAB B. The tunnel was perpendicular to a main shaft. The:vertical shaft continues down to a "squarish cavity" from which several other tunnels appear to branch off. See TAB C. In an overall summation, 011 perceived a partially above ground structure connected with a network of smaller structures by an underground tunnel. Smaller satellite structures, similar in design, and extending to depths of about 480 meters were interconnected with'the underground tunnel. See TAB "D". Two contradictory aspects/functions were associated with the structures; the first wasicompletely overt while the second seemed "covert, secret, underground ." An attempt to provide phonetics related to the target surfaced the expressions, "Kraznal/Krazyah/Kretchmar" with a second generic expression that meant substantially, "station." (SINFISK) Remote Viewer 018 was tasked to access the target 3. via encrypted coordinates and was immediately drawn to an WARNING NOTICE: SENSITIVE INTELLIGENCE SOURCES AND METHODS INVOLVED CLASSIFIED BY: CH SC, DIA DECLASSIFY BY: OADR HANDLE VIA SKEET CHANNELS ONLY SPECIAL ACCESS.REQUIRED Approved For Release 2000/08 ~,P96-00789ROO3500830002-1 Approved For Release 2001-F-fifff, -RDP96-00789ROO3500830002-1 SG1A loactivity in the lower underground portion of a structure." See TAB E. The target structure, according to Viewer 1018, consisted of "several localized lighted areas:with work stations that one would normally associate with a "secure area" or a "C3 Command Center." This place (target) has alclose link with a distant city which has "withstood a military attack within the memory of its residents." People sounds werelheard from below, as well as "another sound not unlike the rush 6f subway trains." A short corridor lead to a large tunnel. Beyond a door is a room with a "thick cement and metal wall;" it measures about fifteen by thirty feet. The tunnel is about one huhdred fifty feet to two hundred feet from the earth's surface. -The tunnel is about fifty feet high and seventy to eighty feet wide. See TABS F, G, and H. i[. (SINFISK) Remote Viewer 032 was:tasked with accessing the target via Encrypted Coordinates 291100/433974 and reported the presence of a principal structure "that is vented in some way." Pounding noises were associated with the target. Viewer 032 then followed descending metal stairways~(TAB I) to a large cavernous structure and a presence of "noise:and fumes." Viewer 032 then perceived a series of structures consisting of about five floors situated in a climate-controlled atmosphere. See TAB J. Below the last of these, is a wide structure with an arching door. Construction is ongoing. "A series:of smaller rounded tunnels that followed tracks continued deep6r from the light/air source." See TAB K. The main perception related to this area related to an attitude of "getting ready for something, a bigger plan." Depth of the main large tunnel fromithe earth's surface is one hundred to one hundred and fifty feet. 5. (SINFISK) Asked to access the target of interest, Remote Viewer 079 perceived "vans and tunnels" and the presence of men in uniform. Viewer 079 added, "Miliftary personnel of high rank did not frequent the target structure on a regular basis." The main (target) structure has a roundi monitoring room (TAB L) that :Is associated with military bases and sensitive information. The target tunnel is about "one thousand to five thousand feet deep." The presence of two tunnels were noted in the area. See TAB M. During the course of a post-session:debriefing, 079 re-estimated the depth of the tunnel at about fo~tr thousand feet. 13 ENCLOSURES TABS A - M sketches SG1J Branch Chief SG1A Approved For Release 2000/08/~Sf.- 96-00789R003500830002-1 X tprr Approved For Release 2000/08/09 I'~-,~RDP96-00789ROO3500830002-1 volt -SU 14 SOLO -rom - o940 TAU., 'MWEZ-LI'(P- OG133F,CT/ S-MuauzF- Approved For Release 2000/08/09 - 6-00789R003500830002-1 2iLAA Approved For Release 2000iugw.,4'~orA-wuv96-00789ROO3500830002-1 ;Uf CA ^CWAt Approved For Release 2000Y48/69~:*P 96-00789ROO35008300C 2 corAwAY sitE VIF-w Approved For ReleE Approved For Release 2000/08/09 :'C.IA-~RDP96-00789ROO3500830002-1 -00789ROO3500830002-1 Ize VO IApproved For Release 2000QFn- UAiRDP96-00789ROO3500830002-1 5rATtO# 'u/c, T-d S)be VISW t 5T1tUGTU9-C (I L Sul$ ITC." % N rw PUP VATIA SA'11~ ~?D Ajj,D, s%rA%LAjt OVEP-MEE-AD \tit(..> Approved For Release 2000/09068%mCIA~-,R,DP96-00789ROO35iO8oOO2-1 Approved OwkQ CIA-RDP96-00789ROO3500830002-1 14?
