I'm extremely apologetic for the delay and want to assure you that it does not in any way reflect a lack of interest in the study. Contractual obligations were pressing and the interdisciplinary nature of the proposed study required considerable coordination within SRI. In the review process it was pointed out that the Office of Management and Budget must approve all questionnaires used on a government project. To circumvent this procedure, it is probably desirable to change the term "questionnaire" to "user interview form" in the proposal; however, for the sake of expediency I did not feel that it was necessary in this draft version. Philip Whalen, the department director, and I will both be in town the week of 2 January 1977 and, hopefully, will be able to discuss this effort with you at that time. Sincerely, Barbara J.
