SUBJECT: Status of Stanford Research Institute
Research in Parapsychology
Khile discussing the status of the OTS nine
month overdue SRI report on parapsychology, information
on their research was given by Dr. 11. Puthoff. Dr. Luc'-N-Y,
a well known Bell Telephone.Labotatory information theorist,
inform Mr. Targ and Dr. Puthoff their invited review paper
on parapsychology was favorably reviewed and will be p'lb-
lished in March 1976 Proceeding of the Institute of
Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Dr. Freund, fro'D
the Naval Electronics System Command, increased the scope
of their current contract by $27,000 to investigate some
paranormal interactions with saagnetopketers. The Naval
Coastal System Laboratory in Panama, Florida is considering
a third contract. The SRI research parapsychology effort
is fully funded until next Summor according to Puthoff.
