(S/STD) MISSION: Provide information on narcotics- smuggling operation. 2. (S/STD) VIEWER TASKING: Encrypted coordinates, plus three EEI (see attached tasking sheet). 3. (S/STD) COMMENTS: No Physical Inclemencies. 4. (S/STD) EVALUATION: Some descriptive information is not in harmony with operatioaal data provided. Of interest is the description of the transfer vessel being noticeably smaller than the receiving vessel. This contradicts the operational. data about vessel size, but agrees with several other viewer results. Confidence estimate: 45% 1 5. Time: 0913-0937 Viewer: Ole Session: 02 1. (S/STD) Describe the originating vessel: The boat from which the contraband originates looks very much like a speedboat, but I was repeated impressed by its size and width. It is built almost completely for power, and is the size of a tugboat, in spite of its speedboat appearance. It is white in color and has lines along its side, like siding on a house. These lines are patterened differently in the very front (see Fig. 1). It came to the receiving ship from a peninsula of land, where a group of structures overlook the water (see Fig. 2). It is much smaller than the receiving ship. 2. (S/STD) Determine where within the marked borders on the map (Fig. 3) where the receiving ship will offload its cargo: The receiving ship appears to unload its cargo along the southern part of Alaska, just north of the Aleutian Islands (see Fig. 3). 3. (S/STD) HF radio will be used. Determine: a. Frequencies used: If one were to lay the HF spectrum over a spectrum of visible light (rainbow), the receiving ship's frequency would be located at light green. Another frequency was also noted, coming from a northeasterly direction, somewhere on land. This frequency would be at ~06wiff" STIPPLED NOFORN SPECIAL ACCESS REQUIRED Handle Via SKEET Channels Only Approved For Release 2003/09/03 : CIA-RDP96-00789ROO0900410002-6 Approved For Release 2003/09/03 : CIA-RDP96-00789ROO0900410002-6 STIPPLED NOFORN SPECIAL ACCESS REQUIRED purplish-blue on the spectrum. b. Callsigns used: I got the impression of two callsigns: one, heard on the purplish-blue frequency, sounded like <-"Edmundson" or "Edmontson". The other,- heard on the light green frequency, sounded like'l_-"Florin" or, "Florintine".7' C. Languages used: Listening to the person an the light green frequency, no definitely identifiable words were perceived. I got only mush-mouthed, nasaly-gutteral, and very irritating sounds from a man with,.an otherwise deep, attractive voice. The language is almost certainly French.
