(S) This report provides documentation of a remote viewing session conducted for the purpose of orienting a remote viewer to the protocol which will be used in the remote viewing training program at Stanford Research Institute (SRI), Menlo Park, California. 2. (S) The target impressions related by the remote viewer were highly analytical and showed little correla- tion with the target site. Several of his more graphic impressions did show some target correlation. But whenever he attempted to analyze or label his images, "noise" would interfere and he would relate false data. The remote viewer realized his error during the post- session visit to the target and is anxious to try again. 3. (S) The protocol used for this session and which will be used in later training is detailed in the document, Standard Remote-Viewing Protocol (Local Targets) by Harold E. Puthoff and Russell Targ, November 1978. 4. (S) Following is a transcript of the viewer's impres- sions during the remote viewing session. At TAB A are drawings made by the viewer reference his impressions of the target site. At TAB B are photographs of the target site. At TAB C is a post-session interview. op3ngir - OLURL I Approved For Release 2000/08/07 : CIA-RDP96-00788ROO0900820,001-3 Approved For Release 2000/08/ 900820001-3 018m, " "-%"~900 #28: Okay.
