CATEGORY 1
(S/NF/CL-1) With regard to alternative training investigations, we have
decided that it is probably best not to send a preproposal to you with regard
to making an alternative training procedure available, as we have not yet had
the opportunity to evaluate in detail alternative approaches we have in mind.
Therefore, we suggest that we investigate alternative training using funds
specifically earmarked for exploratory research. This would optimize the
opportunity to provide you additional training alternatives in the future with
the least risk to you.
(S/NF/CL-1) We shall keep you informed about our progress. Should the
program yield positive results, we will seek your advice as to how we might
integrate the new procedure into your program.
(S/NF/CL-1) In the meantime I am looking forward to the work we have
planned for the immediate future. Please feel free to contact me at any
time with regard to these issues.
