And a country store, gas station type in the northwestern portion of the sketch. The thing I have sketched here which I had to when I "Xedu the spot for the bundle was that indeed this crossing of highways was not as angular at 90 degrees as it appears here. It was more of a rounded slant to it, it wasn't a perfect 90 degrees. #66: Okay. #08: Okay. And going back and thinking of where I had seen the bundle, it was a round corner, in this area here, between the two "Xs", is really where it was. Okay. Then I tried to identify the small farmhouse in question, which about, I forget what I said, 3 miles, mile and half, I get confused here, from the location on the same road. If I follow that main highway, that multiple highway, going south there is a slight curve to the highway after the intersection, within about a mile, mile and half. And that house is located next to the highway there. That's a driveway, by the way. 0 8 Okay, sketch #2 which I've entitled house is an attempt to describe the house of interest, which looks like an old small country home with front a ... with a front screen door. House has a step of about 3 or 4 steps and it is off the ground be about a foot and a half, two feet on pillars, with an "A" roof. And one of the identifying factors is that it has a sloping front overhang to the house, which forms a porch type approach to the house. And looking for additional identifiable landmarks I perceived, perceived the remnants of a wrecked automobile. It could be anything, but something like, definitely black automobile. Something that reminds me of a 49 or a 51 Chevy. #66: It was an abandoned automobile as it were? - ~~J f? ,A k , Alt ~~, ~, \ 60§~-00788 ROO 1900060002-5 v C 00/08/0f.,q, -R I or Release 20 k Approved For Release 2000/08/08: CIA_BQfP 788R001 900060002-5 1,P T #08: Yea. #66: It just sits around in the yard. #08: Yeah, like someone drove 220,000 miles and just left it there. 6 6 Okay. Now tell me a little bit about this guy and his discovery of this bundle and then a--- #08: 1 think the guy is a local, I think I tried to emphasize that, the impression of a, lack of a better expression, the local yokel who happens to inadvertently trip on the bundle in question and takes it home and has, is completely confused and amazed at what he has and really doesn't know what to do with it. And realizes that it's of some importance, doesn't fully realize, but suspects that it has some value and there's problems to translate that value into something gainful, which he may, which I do not know if he persisted in that effort. #66: And what did hey explain to me again what he did do with the documents. #08: The documents were unwrapped in the front portion of the building or the front room of the house and were subsequently placed in a container in the back room of the house, which appeared to me like a wooden barrel about 3 or 4 feet high and the documents in question were placed there, layered with a heavy piece material, either cloth canvas or very heavy brown paper and then filled with other extraneous material. #66: So they then would then wind up at the bottom of this -- #08: this barrel. #66: --wooden type barrel. #08: Yea, barrel, bin whatever you want to call it. 6 6 Barrel will be okay. Anything else you'd like to add? #08: No. #66: Okay. ~ovpd [-F(T,fWease 2000/08/08 qWRDP96-00788R001 900060002-5 ~pp g'j Approved For Release 2000/08/08: GIA-PfPR~ ---h788RO01 900060002-5 n /~6W*4,v se 64411~ S,O *c,,VPtF Appro~d For Rele/Se 2000/0 1900060002-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/08 88ROO1900060002-5 iz~a,-VOU 0: rlj~ ----------- Approved For Release 2000/08/~W ,?U&tOFf9,6OeM#AQqOW -5 P2 Approved For Relealso2OOO/O8/08 CIA-RDP96-00788ROO190060002-5 AGENT REPORT For use of this form, see FM 30-17(C); AR 381-20; the proponent agency is the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence. 1.
