         SUMMARY OF INFORMATION:
         I. TASK'ING- Determine the location of a hidden target in a confined area
         of land.
         2. METHODOLOGY': I started at the "central tree" and felt for warmth from
         the target (the weather was very cold).
         3. RESULTS: The attached map indicates the results of this method, and
         the path traveled as I progressed. The standard formula2 for computing
         locational error within confined boundaries indicates this as 35.64%
         accuracy (Very Poor).
         Six different methods were used for this target, with success rates
         ranging from 76.36% accuracy (pendulum method) to 23.64% accuracy
         ("first impression"). Results of these methods are [.-.ept in personal
         records.
              2 Percent accuracy is determined by the standard formula for computing
         locational error within confined boundaries:

              -1q The same target (D004) was tried earlier in the day with the strong
         feeling in each method that the target was not in the area. This was
         later found to be true.
