     1. (S/NF/SK) Tasking: Original tasking data sheet in ops officer
     files. No additional instructions received.
     2. (S/NF/SK) Session: After a review of his previous session
     source was informed that the session would begin in Stage VI with an
     exploration of the idea "trajectory".
     3. (S/NF/SK) Summary: Among the concepts associated with whatever
     it is that makes up the "trajectory" are: "pulse, rhythmic, regular,
     rapid, sequential, directional, polarized and out-phased"; (AOL-"energy
     beam weapon"). A roaring sound occurs at the target structure. The
     effects (not visible during travel) arrive to the target from a
     direction almost parallel to the horizon. The effects follows a
     1twiggly" course to the target, (AOL-"like a lightning bolt from the
     sky"). There is a sense of two components--a designator and a "cause",
     (AOL-"laser designator and a smart missile"). The causal object
     (smooth, shiny, matte, rounded, etc.) is funny-shaped; there are various
     different shapes associated: protrusions, angles, substructures. It is
     supported on "leg/outriggers/landing gear", like it is spring-loaded or
     bouncy. There is little internal empty space; wires, cables, circuits,
     electronic parts, guiding/controlling/projecting mechanisms, and IFF
     circuits. (The system operates so rapidly, specially designed IFF is
     necessary to prevent accidental destruction of friendly or neutral
     targets). Part of the object is capable of rotating, or rapid
     directional changes; hydraulics seem to be employed here, (AOL-"belly
     gunner on a B-25") and descriptions of slewing, elevation and "whirring
     sound". There is a sense of mobility capability associated. The object
     is self contained but requires "replenishment" after prolonged use;
     solids are required that are involved in sublimation/solid-to-vapor

    reactions. A very involved process of "recharging spent unit", unit-
    for-unit replacement, connecting, disconnecting and switching. In use
    there is a instantaneous effect; crackling sound, burning, flashing,
    like welding or sparkles, very bright, acrid smells, charring, fusing,
    burning and spalling. This effect cannot be seen, but there is a
    tremendous feel of substanice-to it. The system is not always
    dependable, there are design bugs and mixed blessings. It sometimes
    fails to function embarrassingly, usually because of a sub-system
    problem. It is so complex that optimum performances parameters are
    seldom completely met. Designers are working to correct shortcomings,
    but this is problematic because of certain physical principles having to
    do with operating capabilities.
