(S/NF) As a result of discussions and decisions at the 7 September 1990 SG11 MIB, I am terminating today the previous agreements (references above) that transferred operational control of the SUNSTREAK Program to ODCSINT for a special test/evaluation Deriod. I annreciate your staff's efforts, SG11 particularly those of USA, and accept your offer to have available to assist DIA in follow-on actions regarding the program. However, with the special test/evaluation period over, administrative and operational control of the SUNSTREAK Program and its fiscal and personnel resources reverts to DIA. I have asked the SG1J DIA Executive Director to oversee our subsequent SUNSTREAK Program actions on my ~e a ues ons regarding the program and our courses of action may be directed to Mr. Nagy, or to Mr. John T. Berbrich, Assistant Deputy Director for Scientific and Technical Intelligence.
