                                      Phase II
              (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Following are the perceived highlights
         from each source.
         - (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source A:
              -- This exercise will be done by the military for defense
         purposes utilizing large scale employment for a short duration.
         The planned activity is part of an on-going project with a new
         purpose.
              __ There are communications at the site. The exercise
         takes place on land located in an area near beige and brown
         connected housing similar to townhouses and a short chain link
         fence. Trees may be in the vicinity. The exercise has an
         American European or possibly Hispanic flavor.
         The event is for testing equipment or weaponry. Long
         thin objects are utilized with a rounded bottom which has light
         emanating from them to a vantage point. These objects can
         penetrate the earth. Books have images of these objects which
         have a ground - land forces utility. The objects are mounted to
         happen in term. Many duties will be performed through this
         exercise which once begun will take more than a few days and no
         longer than a week to occur. (Sketch 2A)
         - (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source B:
              -- Major air/land operation within southwestern Asia. I
         sense that the premise for this exercise is counter-nuclear in
         nature. The scenario I sense is that of a conflict between two
         or more countries or political entities getting out of hand and
         threatening the security of nukes which may be owned by a nearby
         country or province; or possibly by one of the participants
         themselves.

         I sense a pincer type movement with smaller units
         acting as obstacles while a larger unit(s) moves towards the
         former, squeezing whatever or whoever may be between them.
              -- I sense a very rapid movement of all groups involved
         with this operation. There is a touch of reality in this... in
         that this may, in fact, be used as an opportunity to carry out
         exactly what the predictive model was planned to do ... very smart,
         guys!!!
         - (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source C:
              -- Exercise activity will take place on or near water.
         water activity is predominant although some air activity will
         take place also. Duration will last a couple of weeks. Call
         sign "JSN" phonetically surfaced. Quite a bit of paper work is
         involved in this exercise. People will be monitoring and
         analyzing information. Overall, the exercise will be considered
         a success.
