        E. INFORMATION:
        Snipers are currently taking "pot shots" at US military
        personnel and installations in Somalia. This will continue until
        US or United Nations envoys go to Somalia and have political talks
        among rival clans which will occur in the near future. The
        American presence in Somalia will continue to be one of a military
        training exercise until peace can come to that area. The fighting
        that is going on in Somalia is between rival clans of that country.
