 (U) During the month of Sept, 93 1 engaged in the following
 activities:
 1. (C) Prepared section in a briefing book for Don
 Mitchell, Staff Member, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence,
 justifying PAG-TA's R&D program.
 2. (C) Attended briefing for Mr. Mitchell to answer any
 technical questions. Prepared summary memo on briefing for PC,
 IPAG.
 3. (C) Prepared a summary for PAG/PA/PC of the key issues
 from the 36th Parapsychological Association Convention,
 especially the Russian work on remote mental influence over
 physical and biological systems.
 4. (U) Began an intermediate Russian language course (at
 my own expense - $1380). Hopefully, this will enable me to
 separate the wheat from the chaff in the six cubic feet of
 untranslated Russian documents provided to us by SAIC.
 5. (CINF) Attended a meeting with Don Henry, Staff
 Specialist - Tactical Systems, OSD(A), concerning a meeting he
 went to at the FBI Academy where non-lethal technology was
 discussed and great interest indicated by the Department of
 Justice (in light of the Waco, TX incident). Received a copy of
 his trip report. A number of contacts were identified for us to
 follow up, especially in light of the fact that the non-lethal
 area overlaps the behavior modification devices I am currently
 trackinq in the FSU. Suggested appropriate ways of approaching

 Game Plan -- target completion date: 1 Oct 93.
 7. (C) Prepared a memo for record on our actions with
 respect to SAIC's technical proposal for the $24K contract to be
 sent to PAG/PA/PC.
 9. (U) Began process of cleaning out
 safes at the DIAC.
