     1. This memo is in response to our telephone conversation of 20 April 1992
     in regard to the follow-on effort to MDA-908-91-C-0037.
     2. There are two SOW items in FIR #3301025Z/92 that require contractor
     support as soon as possible. These are items 6.1.1.1 (new biophysical
     measurement correlates) and 6.5.2 (research methodology/conference contacts,
     sponsorship).
     3. One of these items (6.5.2) is of high interest to the office of the
     Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (Mr. Wolfowitz). Our tight schedule
     requirements have resulted from his request to set up visits and conferences
     on a specialized contract topic as soon as,possible.
     4. Consequently, we request this follow-on effort be implemented by 1 June
     1992 so that these time sensitive SOW items can be initiated as soon as
     possible.
