          MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
          20 March 1985
          SUBJECT: Notification of Disestablishment of CENTER LANE
          I. (S/NF/WNINTEL) On 13 March 198S I met with LTC David Clark,
          CDR, Mf B.n(S), 902d MIG, to inform him that the MOA that
          attached CENTER LANE to DIA became effective on 7 March 198S.
          This attachment would have no direct impact on the Battalion,
          and no change on the relationship between the detachment and the
          Battalion was expected during the period of attachment.
          2. (S/NF/WNINTEL) During the period of attachment, the former
          CL unit would continue to use -he SSPD designation, and use the
          Batallion's headquarters for a@ministrative support. LTC Clark
          approved this approach.
          3. ( S/NF/WNTNTEL) I told LTC Clark that I considered this
          discussion formal notification of the attachment, and that for
          security reasons I would not notify him in writing. I would.,
          however, prepare a letter to the OPSEC Support Detachment,
          notifying them of the attachment, and the cancellation of the
          formal requirement for OPSEC support.
