V A Approved For Release 2001/03/07 CIA-RDP96-00789ROO1401830001-4 Approved For Release 2001/03/07 : CIA-RDP96-00789ROO1401830001-4 WORKING PAPER Project: --- Date* 900@le Time: 1339-1430 Viewer: Ole Session: 01 Monitor: 049 SUMMARY OF INFORMATION: 1. The general area of the site is rough land with a long depression through which brown water is moving rapidly. The surrounding land is brown, moist, and appears bare. The moving water ends abruptly in a man- made natural formation which is high and has a panoramic view. 2. The site, at a time of 300-500 years ago, had a small group of men with long black hair and a single man with long, light-colored (blond or white) hair. These men were standing, talking about philosophical things, and trying 'to understand things which to them were _u@understandable. There is a strong sense of "putting a rock here to(eee if it works", then moving it, see 'ing if that works, moving it again, etc., until it "worked". The purpose of all this discussion and manipulation of the site appears to have been: ~ to gain and impart knowledge ~ to set up methods and protocols ~ to gain personal and group authority and importance ~ to set timetables and schedules ~ to predict future events 3. The site does not have a spiritual or religious significance (of its own), but has a "connection" with the spiritual or religious side of life, almost as though the place were not holy, but something holy were in that place, as in all others.
