        STAR GATE PROGRAM REVIEW -BIBLIOGRAPHIES
        Six (6) bibliographies of documents and/or reports prepared under the Star Gate
        program and/or its predecessors are noted below. These bibliographies are either
        annotated, indexed or cataloged to assist in future identification by program reviewers.
        Copies of the five unclassified bibliographies accompany this brief cover memo while
        the sixth, classified bibliography is available for review at the SECRET level.
        Titles of the attached bibliographies and a brief description of their contents follow:
             1 . GF Progress Reports and Bibliography of Stanford Research Institute
        International Publications (U).
        This is an unclassified, annotated bibliography of classified and unclassified
        SRI documents prepared under government contract during the period
        1974-1989 and which were available at the Star Gate program office. This
        bibliography was prepared for the current program review and evaluation.
        Many of the classified documents have been sanitized and an unclassified
        version is available also; these sanitized documents are noted on the
        bibliography.
             2. Bibliography of Science Application International Corporation (SAIC)
        Publications. (U)
        This is an unclassified, annotated bibliography of classified and unclassified
        SAIC documents prepared under government contract during the period
        1991-1994 which were available at the Star Gate program off ice. This
        bibliography was prepared for the current program review and evaluation.
        3. CIA Bibliography. (U)
        This is an unclassified, annotated bibliography of classified and unclassified
        documents available in CIA files. The documents were published during the
        period 1972-1976. Some of the documents from the 1972-1974 time frame
        appear to be reports from contract efforts, others are copies of proposals,
        open literature reports, etc.
        4. Document Index. (U)
        This is an annotated listing of classified and unclassified documents
        prepared by the Star Gate office during the period 1990-1994. They are
        comprised of a variety of types including status reports, briefings , plans, etc.
        and including several classified reports from operational tasking during the
        period 10/90 to 1/91.

        5. Bibliography I (U).
        This bibliography is an extract from a report entitled "A 5-year Program Plan
        for Anomalous Mental Phenomena (U)" circa 1991. The cited report was
        prepared by SAIC; the bibliography lists 266 reports from the period 1976-
        1990 related to paranormal psychology. The citations include classified and
        unclassified reports prepared under various government contracts and other
        documents from internal SAIC memoranda and the open literature. The
        bibliography has been indexed to identify the status of each document
        regarding current availability and potential value for subsequent review by
        the Blue Ribbon Review Panel and/or for declassification.
        The sixth bibliography is entitled "Technology Assessment and Support Activity (PAX-
        TA) - Index of Operational Activities. (U)" This SECRET document lists all operational
        tasking to the Star Gate program during the period 1986-1995 and catalogs the
        tasking organization, date of tasking and the general topic or subject of the tasking.
        This bibliography was prepared for the current program review and evaluation. It is
        available for review by anyone having an appropriate security clearance and need-to-
        know.
