            SUBJECT: Access to GRILL FLAME

            1. On 21 December 1981, MAJ John Bryan, SRD, ITAC called to request
            MAJ Wylie be "read-on" for GRILL FLAME. COL Patakos had received
            telephonic approval from COL Scanlon, DCSOPS, INSCOM and COL Miller,
            ADCSOPS-HUMINT9 INSCOM.
            2. Due to holidays and MAJ Wylie being.on leave he was not given his
            GRILL FLAME indoctrination until 5 January 1982.
