The afternoon consisted of Rv work with random noise electronic devices (successful in that the device was perturbed during the RV) and a two-hour discussion of RV practices with Hella Hammid, a well known RVer who works with the SRI personnel. C. On 22 Aug 79, SRI personnel conducted a discussion of the judging of previous "beacon" type RV sessions. After this discussion, the rest of the day was used to do RV of random noise electronic devices (successful) and photographs. For the first RV session of photographs, the RVer was asked to pick out the photograph he perceived from a "pool" of four photographs. The RVer was able to do this. This procedure was not continued because it was not considered beneficial to have the RVer anticipating left hemispheric analysis of his own RV images. d. On 23 Aug 79, INSCOM personnel were asked to not come to SRI in the morning because Mr. Gale of the DOD Grill Flame "Gale Committee" was to be there and SRI personnel would be occupied with him. SRI personnel reported later that their meeting with Mr. Gale went well. Apparently they discussed statistical judging of RV sessions. During the afternoon hours another RV session was conducted against the "real world" Problem mentioned in subparagraph b above at the request of SG1A personnel. Results of this RV session were significant. Another RV session of a photograph was conducted later in the afternoon (successful). e. On 24 Aug 79, the morning consisted of RV work with random noise electronic devices (unsuccessful) and in the afternoon another RV session of a photograph was conducted (very scucessful). 2.
